There are problems with relationships, there are cognitive developmental problems, there are physical health conditions that are related. So, we&#8217;ve found in terms of physical health, there&#8217;s related to cardiovascular disease, pain conditions, migraines, back problems, arthritis. So, there&#8217;s many physical health problems that are related to child maltreatment.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There&#8217;s been a very large literature that shows that child maltreatment is related to poor mental health outcomes.&nbsp; So that can include post-traumatic stress disorder, other anxiety disorders, depression, as well as thinking about and attempting suicide, and also a really robust relationship with substance use.&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>So, there&#8217;s been many poor outcomes related to child maltreatment.
