Our ability to form and use memories influences our actions. Memory is divided into several sub-sections that are mediated by different regions of the brain. Memory is an important tool for learning and communicating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Ron Barr, professor emeritus, Department of Pediatrics, Faculty of Medicine at the University of British Columbia, researches infant memory. Are there implications for caregivers?<\/p>\n\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n<p>The research of Dr. Charles Nelson is focused on memory and face\/object recognition. Face recognition seems to be related to the development of attachment or the strong intense and emotional connection between an infant and primary caregivers.
